Kids Ministry is looking for volunteers (ages 14 and older) who love kids and love Jesus to help us with VBS! 

Monday, June 10th - Friday, June 14th | 9am to 12pm (time commitment for volunteers is 8:30am to 1:00pm every day)

Available volunteer positions and descriptions:

Storytelling

• memorize scripts
• high energy
• passionate in telling kids about Jesus
• engage with children PreK to 5th

Games

• direct games loudly to large groups of kids
• ability to stand for long periods (sometimes in the heat)
• engage kids in games
• engage with children PreK to 5th
• passionate in telling kids about Jesus

Worship

• memorize lyrics and motions to songs
  
• be present for the opening and closing
• high energy
• passionate in telling kids about Jesus

Crafts/Science

• set up and organize crafts
  
• oversee a classroom with multiple children 
• engage with children PreK to 5th
• passionate in telling kids about Jesus

Snacks

• prepare snacks for all children
• help serve snacks
• engage with children PreK to 5th
• passionate in telling kids about Jesus

Mandatory volunteer meeting dates:

•  NO MEETING 3/27 in observance of Holy Week

• Wednesday, April 24th at 6:30pm
• Wednesday, May 8th at 6:30pm
• Wednesday, May 22th at 6:30pm
• Sunday, June 2nd at Noon (Mock VBS)
• Wednesday, June 5th at 6:30pm (VBS Pre Check In)
• Sunday, June 9th at noon (set up, decorate and last-minute instructions)
• VBS Week, June 10th to 14th, 8:30am to 1:00pm
• **Other meetings as scheduled by team leads
• **Storytelling and worship teams will have additional mandatory meeting dates
