Hello, from Mike and Jackie Grimwade Felt!
Mike and Jackie have been married for 6 years, but have been together for over 10 years. They originally met in college at the University of Illinois through the school’s Cru Campus Ministry. Here, they were part of the same friend group and bonded over their love for doing almost anything outdoors, playing board games, and having fun with friends and family. They have lived in Colorado for three years, but made a few pit stops together (in Chicago and Arizona) before landing here for Mike’s job. Mike is a Mechanical Engineer and manages projects in the power industry. Jackie is a zookeeper at the Denver Zoo! She loves animals of all shapes and sizes and has a passion for local and global conservation projects. Mike enjoys putting his skills to practice by volunteering with trail maintenance and wildlands restoration organizations. The Grimwade Felts have enjoyed leading bible studies and “life groups” together in Chicago and Phoenix before this one. They both love to dive deep into theology, especially regarding the Old Testament. They also love the community that forms around a group of people studying God’s word and having honest discussions. Their sermon discussion group is specifically focused towards young married couples, as they are hoping to connect with other people in the same stage of life! In their sermon discussion group, they strive to have Spirit-led conversations in a lively community. They would love for you to join them!
