A little bit about Vicki...
Hi! I’m Vicki Bryant. I am a member of CCC and a 5+5 Missionary. I have 5 adult children - two girls and three boys; the 3 oldest of whom are married. Their father passed away almost 2 years ago, but God takes care of us. I grew up moving a lot and have spent a bit of time in every state in the U.S. We moved back to Colorado when I was eight and by the next year, I was a street kid along East Colfax breaking laws and making bad decisions. It was the everyday Christians God kept placing in my path and the Holy Spirit that drew me to Him and to salvation at age 27. In church and through Celebrate Recovery-type meetings, I learned about the love and character of Jesus. Christ called me back to East Colfax as a missionary and I’ve been following Him there since 2002. I’ve facilitated small groups for many years at CCC and started an online group during COVID. Our group continues to meet online because we have members in other states who enjoy watching the sermons at CCC from all our pastors at church. Our little group loves to gather each week and even reaches out by phone and email, regularly for prayers, praises, and relationships. Currently, I am also a caregiver to my elderly parents, as well as a missionary. My self-care consists of days with the Lord, my sermon discussion group, and meeting with friends for coffee, a meal, or a walk. I’m not a coffee drinker… my favorite hot drink is chai.
